The Mississauga Terriers are proud to announce this year's Jack Brooks Lifetime Achievement Award winners!
This year, for the first time ever, the Jack Brooks Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to 4 players and seven coaches, volunteers and team staff. This prestigious award recognizes those who have been part of the Terrier organization for nine or more years and made significant contributions to the organization on and off the ice. This award has been aptly named after Jack Brooks, who has been the General Manager for the organization for the past 22 years and part of the Terriers for thirty plus years. His commitment to the organization has made it one of the most successful and well recognized AA organizations in all of hockey. As Jack would often say, “it's not just about one person, but creating a good thing means surrounding yourself with good people who do it for the right reasons and are loyal Terriers.” We salute you, Jack, for your incredible dedication to the organization and for the time and energy you have spent making a difference in the lives of so many. It is fitting that this award be given in your honour.
The newly named Jack Brooks Award is being presented to those players who have been part of the Terriers for 9 straight years, and to the coaches, volunteers and other team staff who have dedicated their time and energies to nine or more years with the organization. This award recognizes these few as the Hall of Famers of the organization.
